Thomas, a federal corrections officer, had heard the numbers before, but this time, they really got to him, and he felt compelled to do something for America's bravest. "I just want them to know that I care and I'm trying to make a difference," Thomas says. So, he decided to design and sell men's and women's t-shirts to raise
money for a charity that helps the families of fallen soldiers. The
name of his new line, Get Sum Clothing, serves as a rallying cry of
support. Thomas says he and his coworkers yell the phrase "Get sum"
during training. He and his former Army buddies also used the phrase
back in the early 90's when he was stationed in Germany. Visit the site
